Kanye West, who is the controversial rapper and fashion mogul, has been ordered to pay $140,000, It happened after a court ruled in favor of a handyman who accused him of unpaid wages and unsafe working conditions. The lawsuit was filed by Tony Saxon in 2023. He did it because he worked on Kanye West’s Malibu Mansion, which was bought by West for $57 million in 2021.

Saxon claimed that he was promised $20,000 per week for his work but was only paid a fraction of that amount. During the trial, both West and his wife, Bianca Censori, took the stand to testify. West reportedly acknowledged complaints about the handyman’s smell but denied most of the other allegations. West’s legal team argued that Saxon was an unlicensed contractor who had damaged the property. They also presented evidence which includes bank records. It showed that Saxon had been paid $240,000 during his six weeks of work.
